My family started camping with the Lanier's, when I was 2 years old, before Lanier's Campground was started at another campground they managed. We followed them to Lanier's campground when I was 6 years. When I was 14 years old when a boy I met there, gave me my first kiss, in the swimming pool. I'm now 34 years old and married to that same boy, with a son. I've known the Lanier's for 32 years and now my parents and I both own a house near the campgrounds. The Lanier's are a wonderful, close family that wants every guest to be happy. I encourage anyone to make reservations. You won't regret it.

I visited your campground for the first time last week. I get very little time to visit my family since I've moved to Texas, so anytime I can spend with them is very valuable. The environment was very relaxed and enjoyable. The location is great too! Everyone was so friendly, which made me see how bad I really miss being in North Carolina. I can't wait to come back again!

We stayed at Lanier's in May 2004. It was very clean and the people were very friendly. They have a nice pool area, pool tables and games for the kids, a playground, and hot showers. We will definitely be going back.
