LANIER’S CAMPGROUND
**Pool opens officially on Memorial Day week-end**
**Yard of the Month** will start in May and continue to September
*Skeeter’s Grill opens Saturday and Sunday May 2, 7:30 to 2:00 **
**BINGO - Memorial Day thru Labor Day - Friday nights @ 7 pm and SATURDAY at posted time**
Activities subject to change due to inclement weather or lack of interest at the time.
We would greatly appreciate volunteers to help run these events.

Easter Weekend - April 11, 2009
- Saturday
- 12:00 - Yard clean-up day…Free Hot Dogs and Ice tea starting at noon for as long as they last.
- 2:00 - Games start, egg toss, potato sack race, 3 legged race, plus we are adding one new event this year.. for all ages and topped off by the Tug of War (Chicks vs Chumps). Remember the Chicks have won it the last 2 times.
- A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny. You can have pictures taken for $3.00 by Cristina and receive them the same day.
- Immediately following the games Easter Egg Hunt for ages up to 10---bring your own baskets and 1 dozen hard boiled colored eggs to be hidden

Mother's Day Weekend - 5/09/09 to 5/10/09
- Saturday
- 1:00 - All kids come make Mom a surprise Mother's Day Gift and Card
- 7:00 - Gospel Music by Sweet Accord at the Chapel by the Bay
- Sunday - Free breakfast for all Moms at Skeeter's Grill
- 8:00 - Early morning service Chapel by the Bay
- 9:15 - Sunday School
- 10:30 - Church Service Chapel by the Bay
Memorial Weekend - 5/23/09 to 5/25/09
- Saturday
- 9:00 to 5:00 18 inflatable foot slide and bouncing castle for all ages
- 10:00 Dog Contest to benefit Carolina Canines.
This benefit goes for the training of dogs to help the disabled. If you don’t have a dog, come and see what the organization is about, contributions will be welcome…$5.00 charge to enter your dog. Plenty of categories and prizes. Pictures will be taken by Linda $3.00--4x6, $5.00--5x7, $8.00--8x10

- 6:30 - Pig Roast bring a covered dish large enough to feed your family and a non-alcoholic beverage, the campground will provide the meat, plates and utensils
- 7:00 to 9:00 - Music by DJ Billie Carr.
- 5:00 to 6:00 - Guitar lessons….come learn to play info.

JUNE 6/6/09
- Saturday
- 8:00 - Fishing Tournament, Crab Catching, for all ages. Fish off the dock
1st grand prize goes to the Heaviest, other prizes awarded
2nd prize goes to the longest fish.
3rd prize goes to the most unusual fish
4th prize goes for the smallest legal fish. Largest crab and longest fish for the kids.
Also door prizes to be awarded after supper. Entrance for fishing, $20, crabbing, $3.00 and children fishing off the dock, $1.00
- 3:00 to 5:00 - Bingo
- 6:30 - Fish Fry $3.00 per plate; fish, beans, slaw, roll. If you buy a ticket in advance, save $.50. Bring your own non alcoholic beverage.
- 7:00 - Music by Jam Busters, Don Dunn
- 8:00 - Fishing Tournament Awards & Prizes handed out.

- 10:00 - Christmas in July, decorate your camper and your golf carts (parade). Prizes awarded.
- 1:00 - Elf Shop opens for Kids to buy gifts for their parents.
- 5:30 - Judging Best Ham BBQ----who has the best recipe-- Prizes awarded.
- 6:00 - Bring a side dish, your beverage and $2.00 and enjoy the BBQ…money goes to the contestants.
- 6:30 - Christmas Carols by D J Billy Carr.
- 7:00 - Santa Comes on Golf Cart with stockings for kids up to 11 years old.
- 8:00 - Bring a clean Gift (not over $5.00) suitable for a man or woman and we will have a novel gift exchange—Jo Campbell Narrator.
Have picture taken with part or all the family for $3.00 - great way to have greeting cards for next year. see the Elf Display.

- 5:00 - Judging for Chili Cook-off, followed by Buy a bowl for $1.00 and the proceeds go to the contestants—Prizes awarded.
